Since my fragrance preferences have been less about floral notes so far, I don't perceive the scent as delicately as many others here. The green-fresh opening strikes me as rather rich and soapy, like sniffing a bottle of fabric softener concentrate. It's actually a bit too much for me at first. However, once the scent settles on the skin and the iris and musk join the flowers, it does remind me of a fine cream (someone here mentioned "fairy Nivea cream," which fits perfectly) and becomes increasingly pleasant. Of course, it's SMN quality.
