I Am Weak !
It is a nice scent, Fresh, Fruity, Clean and Unique. I think that I Am King smells very enjoyable with affordable price. It opens up with fresh citrusy, fruity , green and marine notes in the background then dry down is soft spicy and woody. The Performance is less than Average, Longevity is Poor, l Am Weak ! Overall, I'm so happy that I have it in my collection as a new Brand and I really enjoy it.

Delicious Fruits on Ice - unfortunately in a Plastic Cup
I treated myself to I am King along with Unforgivable in the P. Diddy/Sean John double pack, they don't cost the earth anymore. And I am extremely positively surprised by both fragrances, I expected something good but not very good, especially since even I, as a HipHop listener, couldn't approach it without prejudice. I would never buy a perfume from 50 Cent, Eminem, Jay-Z, or even a German rapper, as I don't trust any of them to have good (fashion) taste. But with Sean John, it was a bit different. Even though the man is a movement dyslexic and can't dance, and he is not the best rapper in terms of quality, more known for some good party tracks, he always looks damn stylish and his fashion is impressive. The fact that he is a Creed fan says enough about whether he has engaged more deeply with the world of perfume.

Now to I Am King, a fruit bomb like no other and fortunately not a Creed copy. Because if I want Creed, I spend the money and don't buy Sean John or La Martina! The fruits hit you ice-cold at first, incomparable, I have never smelled something so delicious and cool at the same time. The top note rocks. But like the entire fragrance, it is underlaid by a somewhat strange, nouveau riche feeling, which could simply be due to the prejudices ingrained in my mind.

It smells like a delicious strawberry slush puppy or a popsicle - which brings us back to the price. For spring and summer, simply wonderfully refreshing, cooling, invigorating. This aquatic effect is then enhanced in the heart note by the incoming seawater, making it one of the top candidates for the best newcomer fragrance of my summer. The base is then not very intrusive or spectacular, but it does not disappoint with nice vetiver and gentle woods.

The fragrance is therefore of medium quality and quite simple in composition, but still very appealing to me and I think especially for the female audience, which makes the title fit again, but remains flashy. HipHop after all, but that's a good thing. The sillage is adjusted for summer, one could say nicely, but it would need to improve significantly to better showcase the strengths of the fragrance and catch more compliments. But in the height of summer, it might be unfortunately great. The longevity is also rather in the lower third with 5-6 hours, unfortunately. The good Diddy could have invested a bit more of his huge fortune to enhance/extend the fragrance.

I think the audience that the fragrance aims to attract is convinced - I can't expect more, and the rest should approach this simple, cool-fruity cocktail fragrance as free of prejudice as possible! HipHop is not always bad, quite the opposite!

Not a Creed Copy !?
Anyone who witnessed the big hype around Sean John's Unforgivable a few years ago knows very well that he is a huge fan of the fragrances from the house of Creed, which is why it was not surprising that he made his first fragrance Unforgivable a top-quality copy that was even rated by fans as better and longer-lasting than the original (especially cheaper).
Anyway, I bought the fragrance in America, thinking that I would get a good copy of a rather expensive Creed fragrance for half the price.
But I was sorely mistaken, as there were no testers available on-site.

The scent has nothing to do with Creed at all.
Right after application, you feel an explosion of fruit, although I can't really follow the fragrance pyramid here.
To me, it smells more like sweet fruits than citrus fruits; whether they are exactly cranberries, I don't know, but they are delicious!
You shouldn't imagine a typical sporty fragrance like the designers have been throwing onto the market by the dozens lately.
It also remains quite linear and doesn't change much over time, which I actually find very pleasant. But maybe it's just me.
Unfortunately, the longevity is around 4-5 hours, which is average.

Now let's talk about the flashy name "I am King"
I definitely wouldn't have chosen that, but I have to bow to the hype in America and can confirm that women find the scent quite alluring, and you feel a little like a king afterward.

So, if you like fruity sweet fragrances, you are in the right place here.
If you prefer something thoroughly masculine, you might be in the wrong spot, as the fragrance could easily be worn by a woman.

Has that mango note from Polo Black, yet mango isn't listed. It smells really good but not radiant at all. Low projection.

Fruity and fresh, but also very synthetic. Smells quite pleasant, though more like drugstore level. Okay for sports & everyday use.
