Chergui "coming from the East"
I experienced Chergui several times as a child; it is an East or South-East desert wind in Morocco (from the Arabic "sharq" = East) that moves towards the Atlantic Ocean.
Chergui is very dry and dusty, hot in summer up to 40 C, and cold in winter, and can last for days. In summer, Chergui could bring life to a standstill.
Chergui is as beautiful as it is unusual; like all great fragrance creations by Lutens, it is everything one could wish for in a perfume named after a legendary wind... A scent that draws its unique aura from the tension of its contradictions: dry and sweet, powdery lightness and spicy intensity, equally magnificent and gently enveloping... Chergui is full-bodied and complex and has a sweet spiciness that is miles away from anything girlish or cute.
A hot and breathtaking fragrance that gives its wearer seductive power and attractiveness.
This scent is more of a winter fragrance, truly comes from the heart, and its blend is unique!
A romantic masterpiece for men and women.
I love Chergui the scent, as a wind I wouldn't want to experience at the moment ;)
