It smells of quality oils, and the hint of musk doesn't bother me at all. There's a touch of violet in the background. Maybe there's a hint of saffron hiding in the leather notes, or maybe it's just a connection in my brain, but it's definitely not enough to be bothersome. The dose makes the poison.
The leather smells most like a soft horse saddle. Quite new still, maybe ridden 2 or 3 times. Soft, supple, elegant, with just a hint of animalic. The only downside is... after a few hours, only a certain sweetness of violet remains on the skin, and I wish I could have that saddle back.
