O•Zone Woman Sergio Tacchini 2000

... (this wonderful scent journey to the sea, so aquatic and fresh) in my memory, O ZONE, that's what it was really called... and it's here to be found (thank you, parfumo community!!!!) Since I registered here, I have been studying this scent, I only had OCEAN on my mind, the color and shape of the bottle still completely clear in my inner eye and then, just now, suddenly "Sergio" in my head. Searched - Found =)

My little bottle, which I had back then, was shaped like the Green Wave. And the scent, aquatic, fresh, my preference for freshness and aquatic notes, like bergamot, orange, lemon, green tea and also the floral, like lily of the valley and rose....

The origin of my scent preference probably came from O ZONE. I can hardly remember the scent, it was ages ago, I was around 15, 16 when I bought my first own perfume, used it so often that it was very very soon empty, wanted to buy it again - no longer to be found.... And I need to have it again to write more about this first self-purchased scent. Since it is apparently still being produced (keeping my fingers crossed) it should be easy - thanks to the internet - to find it again. Then I'll write more about it :)

How can such a scent be so incredibly unknown?

This scent is not sweet, not bitter, not floral, it is none of those things. This scent is different. It has a striking freshness, a peculiarity, this scent accord.... The scent actually starts off a bit piercing. I was initially astonished, was this really the scent I loved at 16, when my life consisted of nothing but school and beach volleyball by the lake? The piercing fades away very quickly and what remains is a scent that is indescribable. I don't know what words to use. I find nothing suitable.

The scent is not sweet. I do love sweet scents, floral scents, powdery warm ones can be nice from time to time. This is none of those. It is most closely fresh, but I associate freshness with a simplicity that does not do this scent justice. It is not even a scent, it is the expression of a feeling of freedom, of sunshine, of everything I love, embodied in scent molecules.

Test the scent, you miss so much if you don't. How can such a scent, which has been on the market for more than a decade, which is so different, be so overlooked? I am really glad I found it here again!! It will have a permanent place in my fragrance repertoire and probably dethrone my previous favorite scent.

I could be mistaken that this scent disappoints you, because memories resonate with me (and tastes are different and my comment - logically - is purely subjective and not only laden with memories, but with the feeling of life back then). But if not, you will expand your fragrance horizon to unimaginable levels.

If you like it oriental, warm, too sweet, you are in the wrong place. But this scent also does not fit my usual preferences, because it cannot be categorized anywhere.
