If only all ozone holes were this beautiful...
Thanks to dear Alinamaria, I got a sample of this nearly unknown Sergio Tacchini fragrance. I knew that the tennis brand also makes decent scents. But I never thought O.Zone could impress me so much. A tip for the summer couldn't be more secretive. The bottle does remind one of the Aquas by Bulgari, and the type of citrus scent is not revolutionary. But still, the fragrance has exactly that freshness and wow factor that one desires on hot days. And when you see the price, your jaw drops even further. I can well imagine that it is currently being sold out and therefore being given away at a bargain.
I believe this fragrance refreshes the wearer even when you’re roasting under an ozone hole in the middle of Australia. And all without any synthetic notes, associations with toilet stones, seaweed, or too many sweet flowers. For me, it’s absolutely unisex. O.Zone is somewhat similar to the Cherry Blossom I tested today, but it’s a league better. The citrus note in the top is perfect, gentle, zesty, and cinematic. Then the scent becomes softer, like drinking chamomile tea, but combined with an iced tea. Only the base, where the green tea creates a somewhat scratchy symbiosis with the cedar, doesn’t completely please me. Overall, it is still one of the best unknown, forgotten summer fragrances I have ever encountered. And it looks and sounds somewhat like a scent from Lidl or KiK... Miracles do happen occasionally in the fragrance world^^
Bottle: a bit trashy colorful, but beautifully oval round.
Sillage: everyday summer scent
Longevity: 6 hours is a decent mark.
Now I’m so eager for the men’s fragrance; I hope all the balls haven’t already been shot with O.Zone Woman. I might even be ready for a blind buy, since no one owns it anyway...
