Thu & Me
...this almost could have happened. The combination of lavender and aniseed at the beginning of the fragrance journey has something extremely fascinating about it. Here, at the latest with the use of the giant fennel, memories of herb candy booths are awakened, which especially at the end of the year enjoy great popularity at Christmas markets and ring in at least with me rather olfactory than gustatory well-being.

That's because I like to sniff these herbal sweets, but only partially taste them. Nevertheless, I like the spicy-herbal-fresh aura that Thu exudes like pastilles that cleanse your throat. However, I somehow associate fennel or fennel tea with illness rather than health. I bet that's a lot like it.
Towards the end it becomes increasingly softer when the musk still mixes in like a powdery breath.

On the skin it all looks very pleasant and well composed, whereas Thu on paper is burdened with a slightly pungent green undertone. Maybe there is something fat-farnish in it or the giant fennel comes over with more scent nuances than the normal fennel.

At least Thu offers a lot of herbaceous mediterranean flair far away from the usual paths. Personally, however, with Profumo Uomo from Isotta Fraschini I have found an over-fragrance that, although it does not contain anise or lavender, conveys this Italian feeling of herbal spice to me in a far more refined and cultivated way.

Although it is quite close to the body for an Enrico Buccella fragrance and does not last as long, anise and lavender fans will definitely get their money's worth here, even if the giant fennel might not necessarily be a huge treat.
