Cumberland Ti Soivohle

I wonder what the title could mean...Cumberland sauce (which usually contains currant jelly) mixed with tea? That would fit with the pyramid.

In fact, I feel, especially at the beginning, a bit reminded of the fruity, red, triangular cough drops from my childhood...they were flavored with wild cherry, but the aroma was quite similar. Some of the Soivohle perfumes apparently have a camphor-like note that gives a spicy-fresh touch, which almost leans towards the medicinal. Mint and honey do their part to enhance the cough drop impression. No, I don't mean this negatively; I like such scents!

Although three types of tea are listed in the heart note, I don't perceive "Cumberland Ti" as a typical tea scent, where I mean tea in the narrower sense, that is, the infusion of green or black (fermented) tea leaves - fruit tea, herbal tea, rooibos, etc. are therefore excluded. At most, I think I can recognize the spice notes from chai.

The comparison may be far-fetched - but not for the first time do I think of the wonderful scents from Slumberhouse when it comes to a Soivohle perfume, which are similarly dense and complex. "Kiste" is dry-apricot-like to my nose, while CT contains black currant, but I do see certain parallels; both have a warm, balsamic, and naturally fruity sweetness.

Overall, a fruity-spicy scent, more suitable for cool days in autumn and winter.
