Unexpected!
Blind bought expecting this to be much more green/bitter. It's a chypre, after all.
Surprise! It's a lovely, semi-sweet floral with pretty aromatic, powdery touches. Like an expensive dusting powder, but from a bygone era. Even though it has this sort of "old timey" feel, it's not dated. Could easily pass for a Guerlain or Carven: sophisticated and very French. Has an endearing transparent quality. Also, while powdery, HdA has a gauzy, watercolor feel. Like an impressionist painting of a wildflower meadow.
Clean, breezy, earthy. And for $15? A steal!
ETA: don't be influenced by comparison to Krizia. That is a CK Obsession dupe and HdA is nothing like either.
