Do you know that feeling?
You go to the drugstore because you only need two things and come back home with 10 things :D And that's how it always is for me...
On Friday, I wanted to quickly stop by the drugstore after shopping to get hand cream and body lotion, and as it goes for a fragrance enthusiast, I absolutely MUST quickly test the perfume section...
And suddenly, I've discovered something that appeals to me and I'm struggling with myself whether I should get it...? Unfortunately, yes...
Since I also like to test affordable fragrances, my eye fell on the new Spirit scent that recently arrived at the drugstore I visit.
So I took a test strip and sprayed it on, and surprise, I liked it... :D
To be honest, when I saw Black Magnolia, I thought it wouldn’t work out for us, but I was wrong.
Better said, the name is misleading...
Well, I was pleasantly surprised by how good it smelled and at an unbeatable price...
So without thinking too long, I took it, paid for it, and went home satisfied :D Let me describe this scent :)
The scent:
It doesn’t start with Magnolia, but with Mango :D
But with a honey-sweet mango note, and I must say I like it because such scents are always welcome for me in summer :D
Ylang-Ylang develops very creamy and also sweet.
On my skin, it has a hint of sunscreen with a slight Monoi touch, and I love that too!
It is a sweet fragrance, but not a cloying or synthetic sweet scent; rather, I would say it’s a very airy fragrance that is hard to overdo.
I perceive vanilla at the very end, especially when the scent gets close to the skin.
Okay, I admit it has neither good longevity nor outstanding sillage, BUT since it only cost 5.00 Fr., I like to spray it on again for a refresh or just take it with me in my bag.
I must say I liked the scent immediately upon first testing, and I am satisfied with it and will probably use it a lot more in summer as it puts me in a good mood :)
The scent screams summer! :D
