Stella Peony combines a squeaky clean, fresh accord of peony-freesia-pepper with the familiar Egyptian musk accord that includes a distinct hint of mildew to my nose (previously featured in the original Stella). The overall effect is a fresher sister of Stella: thinner, airier and a bit higher pitched but pleasant all the same. If you are a lover of the original Stella and appreciate fresher scents, I can't imagine this wouldn't wouldn't be a safe blind buy for you.
