Airy sweet creamy citrus with fruity and floral aspects
I feel like there's a fine line between "well-blended," where every component is distinct but comes together as a coherent whole, and haziness or fuzziness where the components are not really well defined, and I think the latter is happening in The Queen and the Viper. I get the mint in the opening, but only really in the opening, in contrast to Enclave that some are comparing this to, where it is throughout the composition. The citruses, florals, and blackcurrant are all combined in a haze that dominates the rest of the fragrance, along with some ambery aromachemical sweetness. The airiness reminds me a bit of Bal d'Afrique Absolu de Parfum and I feel like a lot of niche fragrances this year are doing this sort of airy creamy sweet citrus, Bleu de Chanel L'Exclusif, Blue Talisman Extrait de Parfum to name a couple. I don't perceive the tobacco note at all, which could have been a good foil to the fruity-citrusy sweetness, but it just isn't there.
