Better than the original

I see that there are lots of people who don't like it as much as the edp, I see that some people do... I'm here to say that the extrait is MILES better than the edp. MILES better. I own a bottle of the edp, and I'm torn between liking it and thinking it's just okay. In fact, the only time I REALLY enjoyed the scent is when I let my son wear it for the day and I smelled it on him. The sillage was incredible when he passed by, but when I wear it, I just don't care for it.

But the extrait! Boy oh boy, it is INCREDIBLE. While still retaining the same DNA, the extrait is only 15% different more or less. But that 15% change is 15% in the PERFECT direction. It's still sweet, maybe slightly so, but it's a BETTER sweet. Maybe it's the amber blend. Because it's so well blended, I can't really pick apart the notes. Therefore, I don't know how else to explain it, other than "I just like it better."

What sucks about it? The price tag. I'll have to literally put money aside for a month or 2 just to buy a bottle without breaking the bank. Borderline ridiculous. I'll still own it one day however.

Sunset in summer

I tested the Blue Talisman Extrait de Parfum in the large Ingles department store in Barcelona.
I actually wanted to test its little brother, the Blue Talisman Eau de Parfum, but unfortunately the tester was empty. Since the two are supposed to be similar according to Parfumo, I tested the Blue Talisman Extrait de Parfum.

The opening is a very sweet brine with bubblegum vibes. But I can reassure you, the bubblegum disappears quite quickly (2-5min).
What remains is an ambery sweet fruity pear. The bergamot lends the pear a very gentle citrus, but this is only subtle.

If possible, do not test on the test strip, but on the skin and wait a few minutes until the bubblegum note has disappeared
The vanilla blends in gently and underlines the overall composition, but is not dominant.

The main player is and remains the ambery, sweet and fruity pear throughout the fragrance.
The "final" drydown sets in after 30 minutes and then lasts a good 8-10 hours on the skin with a very perceptible sillage.

Brief comparison with Blue Talisman Eau de Parfum (the next day there was another full tester): the EDP is much brighter and more citrusy, less sweet and fruity. Lasting power and sillage were a disaster for me with the EDP, it didn't last at all and the sillage wasn't there either, you had to press your nose against your arm to smell anything at all, but maybe that's just me......

Usability:
For me it's a date scent, perfect for summer evenings or fall. But it could also be a signature fragrance. Although very sweet and fruity, it can also be worn at temperatures up to 28 degrees without any problems.

For me, it is a men's fragrance, but test it for yourself.

So the conclusion:
I like it very much and much better than its little brother, as the latter completely disappointed me in terms of durability and sillage.

The fragrance is beautifully balanced and very seductive, the pear is already great and H/S are also top.

Then everything is top or.......naja if it weren't for the absolutely outrageous price.
275€ for 50ml and 380€ for 100ml are already an announcement.....the packaging for those who value it is an absolute outrage for the price. On the other hand, I find the bottle very beautiful.

For me it was a vacation souvenir, which is why the price played a somewhat subordinate role, but for the price it was already very well thought out. If my girlfriend hadn't thought it was so great, it would probably have stayed on the shelf.

But....anyone who has the money and is looking for a fruity, sweet signature fragrance may be in the right place. At this price, be sure to test it first - definitely not a blind buy.
