Rakann starts off sorta jarring in that it smells somewhat like "MothBalls" but thats due to the "AgarWood/Oud note" and since were not really used to that in the West, it comes off as "Wierd." Thing is that the MothBall thing dissapates almost immediately and Im being left with this gorgeous, bright, Clean, Zingy Citrus/Floral fragrance which smells truley captivating and very Unique indeed! I wear my fragrances as "Fragrances of the week" bc Ill chose a scent outta my collection for the entire week and having worn Rakaan all last week, I recieved a compliment 6 out of the 7 days Id worn it bc it really is very beautiful.
Rakan has great performance lasting a good 7 to 8 hours on skin, and till the following day on clothes. Also, Rakaan leaves more of a strong-lingering Scent Trail vs being a "Room filler" which is how I preffer my fragrances to behave.
Now, while I admit that it took me some time to sorta wrap my head around Rakaan, and I DO NOT consider Rakaan to be a safe Blind-buy bc of the VERY Middle Eastern opening, it really becomes very beautiful after only 5 to 10 mins after application, Unisex leaning Masculine and for around $60 on discounters? Absolute worth every penny and beyond! An 8 outta 10 fragrance in my book.
