Give it some time
There is really very little to find online about Opulence of Dubai, and although I really like oriental fragrances, it took me a while to finally buy it.
At the first sniff, I was disappointed all around. I felt overwhelmed only by the ginger, that was it.
But it needs time! Then I tested it again and again at different temperatures, and currently, the bottle is emptying faster than I would like.
The initial opening is heavenly sparkling fresh citrusy, but within a few minutes, it transitions into a slightly warmer fresh spice.
This scent DNA is found nowhere else. To me, after 20 minutes, it feels a bit like Azzaro Most Wanted Parfum combined with the scent impression of Coca Cola spices, especially Red Bull Cola. There’s also an underlying freshness from bergamot.
Opulence of Dubai feels similar to me. Swiss Arabian is typically quite "airy" with OoD. This means the scent impression is not very dense, and you are not overwhelmed by heavy clouds.
I find it super pleasant by now, as even two or three more sprays are not an "overkill." However, the fragrance does leave stains on white clothing. And despite the airiness, the sillage is quite decent.
In summary, a fresh spicy oriental with a pleasant sweetness. The bottles from the Cities Collection are a real feast for the eyes anyway. Simple, elegant, and very stylish!
From my side, definitely test it multiple times! It really has something.

Da stimme ich dir vollkommen zu. Der entwickelt sich nach 3-4 Std. anders und garnicht so schlecht. Tatsächlich muss man den länger testen.
