Niche fragrance at a bargain price
Honestly, I don't remember how Shaghaf Oud ended up on my wishlist.
Maybe it was another evening when I sat in front of the computer until 2 a.m. watching videos about various fragrances. Or perhaps I read a blog post and added it to my wishlist that way. I really can't recall.
In any case, it was now on my wishlist, and I ordered a few samples, including Shaghaf Oud.
What I do know is that this fragrance completely surprised me. Positively, for sure. I just love this vanilla-oud combination, what can I say?
It was sprayed on my left arm and Oud for Greatness on the right. So, they were in direct comparison. I asked 5 different people throughout the day which one they preferred. Clear result: 5 to 0 for my left arm, for Shaghaf Oud. Did I expect that? Not at all. I am still surprised at how good this fragrance is.
The longevity is also quite amusing. A rating of 9.2 sounds impressive. But it is rightly so. Sprayed at 11 a.m., still smelled after showering at 10 p.m. Just insane!
Yesterday, I wore it again, and it was the first thing I smelled this morning.
I also applied both fragrances (Oud for Greatness/Shaghaf Oud) on a friend of mine. He was blown away and ordered a bottle that very evening. Naturally, I did the same. The next morning, he even followed up, saying the perfume was still noticeable!
Anyone who might like this fragrance should definitely give it a try. I can only highly recommend it. Now I just need to find out who introduced me to this masterpiece (for a modest price).

I don't think Oud for Greatness is anywhere near as good as Shaghaf Oud. And with the price difference, you really get a golden treasure!
