Oud Bouquet de Lancome at ridiculous price
Getting away from the designer perfumery is getting easier knowing this type of perfume. Perfumes of bestial quality and excellent performance, both in duration and in wake.
The output is a very intense and medicated saffron, over which light chocolate and woody halos revolve, but very subtle and deep, an authentic oriental beauty. Then, the saffron lowers in intensity, and a shy rose begins to emerge, at the beginning a dusty tinge, and then, slowly, it disappears and acquires very natural velvety nuances. This mixture of rose and saffron is adorned on a faint background of oud, very woody, medicated and creamy, with subtle reflections of chocolate vanilla and very controlled sweetness. Little by little, this background acquires prominence, and the rose diminishes in intensity, recreating the aroma of a light vaporous rose, which is submerged in a source of vanilla and praline, with a lovely woody and smoky undertone. I love this type of aromas, and in spite of the vanilla and the praline, you do not feel a cloying or heavy gourmand, in this aspect it is very well balanced. A beautiful Arabian perfume, a somewhat more gourmand interpretation of the typical Rosa-Oud combo, delicious.
This perfume I liked a lot, and from the first time I smelled it, I knew I had smelled it before. It smells like "Oud Bouquet" by Lancome, perhaps the perfume of Lancome is somewhat sweeter and a little more woody, but in general terms they are almost identical.
The performance of this perfume is great, exceeding 10 hours in skin, with a very marked wake, at least, the first 2 hours, then gradually lowers. A performance that we could catalog, in general, as magnificent.
The use of this perfume fits better in cold and temperate times, and of course, it is an aroma of nocturnal character, although, we could use it during the day, if the weather accompanies it. What we should avoid, is its use in hot climates, where excess heat could saturate a nose not used to this type of aromas Arabic and gourmand.
I recommend this perfume 100% to those people who enjoy oriental floral and woody with a gourmand touch. A perfume of ridiculous price, for everything it offers, quality of components and optimal performance, with an exact aroma to the very expensive "Oud Bouquet" of Lancome, and that should be in the collection of any good lover of perfumes.
