Today the little elf celebrated her wedding.
The festivities are slowly coming to an end.
As is proper, she has withdrawn first.
She stands by the window, watching the still-celebrating elves, listening to the beautiful music.

In her hair, a crown of fresh jasmine flowers. She licks her lips with her tongue, still tasting the fresh, sweet flavor of the nectarine nectar.
A loving smile plays around her mouth. She thinks of the wonderful wedding feast her mother had prepared and her skillful hands while seasoning. A little clove here, a tiny pinch of pepper from her delicate elf hands there, the dessert, cooked in beloved almond milk.

But soon the thought becomes a thing of the past. Her husband enters the bedroom. She stands with her back to him, cannot see him, but she can smell him.
That distinct scent of cardamom that always surrounds him due to his work in the fields, and which she loves so much about him.
His scent mingles with the delicate wood of the newly built little house.

He looks at her, she is small, hardly taller than a dragonfly.
The dress made of delicate feathered carnations. Its scent, barely perceptible, blends with her vanilla.
Gently, he pulls the dress from her alabaster shoulders and carries her to the bed.

Softly, he lets her glide onto the soft sheets of light suede.
No longer are there the scents of cardamom, leather, vanilla, or wood. They merge together, becoming one.....

Morning dawns, new life awakens......

For me, this is primarily a leather scent in the base, softly vanilla and finely spiced on light skin, beautiful.
The order in which the fragrance notes appear is not exactly adhered to in the story. For example, the cardamom is most intense quite early on.
