I discovered Vanori through a website based on my entered fragrance preferences and ordered it as part of a fragrance sample set, as the scent pyramid sounds very beautiful and interesting to me. I have worn the fragrance several times and allow myself to write a review, even though I recently made a statement. But that seems too little for this scent.
Vanori starts off beautifully floral, delicate, sweetly affectionate, but at the same time slightly spicy (not too much) for my nose. I find it beautifully balanced, but with a tendency towards femininity. Vanori develops wonderfully for me until it becomes a very lovely vanilla scent after a few hours. I perceive the vanilla as soft, creamy, enveloping, and by no means sweet/sugary. For me, it is a feel-good vanilla. I keep sniffing at myself and am enchanted. Vanori falls into the category of "elf scent".
The longevity of the fragrance, despite it being generally in the lighter perfume category, is about 6-7 hours for me. The sillage is, fittingly for the fragrance, well noticeable and not too quiet. I perceive the scent on myself very well, even over a longer period. However, I think it presents itself even better and more beautifully in the warmer season.
The more often I wore Vanori, the more I liked it. By the way, a small bottle moved in with me a few days ago, and I am very happy about my new, slightly spicy floral-vanilla blend.
I like Delacourte... The vanilla line is very unique, I love how it plays with contrasts. Sweet bitter, sweet herbal... But somehow it all fits together.
I can only recommend trying it out. To be honest, I had little idea of what Vanori should smell like, but I'm really impressed! 🥰 This is not a scent like so many others for me. But that's always subjective, right? 🙃
