The British Oriental
When I first saw the bottle of Ted Baker Pashion, I could have sworn it was a fragrance for women. However, when I smelled it for the first time, I wasn't so sure anymore....
After recently sniffing my way through half of a Dubai mall and realizing that some of the local fragrances sold there were quite strong for my poor German nose, I had a distinct sense of déjà vu with this scent. Both the opulence of the bottle and the notes contained within speak a clear, albeit Arabic, language. London is, as I know from experience, full of Orientals, so Pashion could very well be designed for this clientele: The top note is hardly fresh, as the cinnamon comes through quite quickly, but the heart note is all the more interesting: I can clearly smell the tea note despite the heavy other components. However, I cannot identify the base. Cedar is present, along with other smoky notes, but thankfully I do not detect amber.
A very interesting, albeit heavy, men's fragrance that seems to be unjustly unknown here. Super long-lasting.
