Clean girl vibes and comforting sweet florals
The 7 Virtues definitely got on the clean girl / your-skin-but-better hype train with their own interpretation, but something in there truly works for me, more than others I have tested. I've smelled it a couple times at Sephora and finally decided to go for a travel size, now that I had the place after decluttering my collection of travel size perfumes.
It starts with a subtle pink pepper. Instead of being spicy, it leans more woody with a hint of that pencil shavings I've come to recognise in certain fragrances that use pink pepper. Thankfully, it's not overpowering, more like a soft introduction to what is to come. It doesn't take too long before the flowers appear, lending a sweet and fresh to the scent. It's really cozy and clean with absolutely no powderiness which I really enjoyed. Freshness remains as the vanilla and musk start to wander in, adding more sweetness, warmth and creaminess.
I can't really put my finger on what draws me into this fragrance, but it was a surprise for sure. I see myself wearing it anytime I want to smell just a little bit better. It's comforting, simple yet elegant. I'll be using up my travel size and then pondering on whether I want a full bottle or not.
