Okay..I admit it, the thought rarely crosses my mind, but for a weekend to switch roles would definitely have its (s)ome charm..I think I would probably spend the whole day "up top" fondling myself:-)))!!!!..uhm..yes..ahem...why did I come up with this strange thought?! I already wrote in the comment to the men's counterpart yesterday, the women's fragrance is the absolute dream...it can't get much better than this for a women's scent!!! The fragrance would be worth switching sides just once..it must be a great pleasure to wear this scent as a woman..yes, "to wear" is probably the better word!
Despite the rather unsuitable temperatures for the fragrance, the blend of delicious mandarin (for me the only recognizable parallel to the men's scent), subtle and unpretentious flowers, and tonka-vanilla is enchanting, even intoxicating. It's extremely feminine, smooth, sexy, sensual, romantic, soft, elegant..perfection taken to the extreme. Here I see more of a very feminine type of woman, with beautiful and soft curves, rather than a size zero type; I also envision images of a well-dressed woman out for the evening.
Its perfectly balanced sweetness is simply captivating and never too much, nothing feels sticky or sugary..everything flows seamlessly. This fragrance blend occasionally reminds me of a mix of Double Vanille by Guerlain and Soleil Blanc by Tom Ford. No wonder I find these two fragrances so wonderful as women's scents. Yes, there's also a hint of Bois d'Iris by Van Arpels and Mandorla di Sicilia by AdP in there. I believe you really have to like these fragrances and this scent direction to be truly happy with it, but I would generally recommend a test to any fragrance fan..regardless of whether they are a man or a woman. I am even seriously considering getting a small bottle, which unfortunately is only available for women's fragrances. But I still don't quite dare..let's just say, the lady at Breuninger looked a bit confused when I asked her if a man could wear it...;-)! Do you think that was a sign when she noticeably pushed the men's bottle in my direction after my question;-)?!?
Whatever...I find the scent so extremely wonderful, it brings me such deep satisfaction and a great feeling of well-being that is hard to describe..I only experience this with fragrances about 2-3 times a year..beautiful!
Gran Teatro in the most beautiful and original sense...a fragrance for the grand stage and emotions, lasting 7-8 hours on me with a strong but not overwhelming sillage. How wonderful must it be on cooler days? The height of summer probably won't be the optimal season for it, at least not during the day..but it is well wearable on cooler summer evenings! I would be very interested to know what other men think about this fragrance...

Very nice and funny comment - I enjoyed reading it. Yes, the scent is absolutely wonderful. A few weeks ago, I just wanted to test it out, just to see, but not buy right away... Sprayed it once, and I was instantly enchanted and bought it right away. I usually never do that with perfume. I always test it for at least a day first and buy later if I like it. But I had to have this one IMMEDIATELY. Luckily, I'm a woman ;).
Haha :) I guess that's what you call a "man magnet." Although I do get a bit skeptical about the sweetness when both comparison fragrances are mentioned.
