Timeless Elegance: Jaguar for Men Gold in Black
Jaguar for Men Gold in Black is a true classic among men's fragrances. The combination of black vanilla, leather, and cedarwood creates a scent that is timeless and elegant. I find this fragrance reminds me of autumn evenings when the leaves fall and the air is filled with a warm, spicy aura.

The subtle, masculine notes make it the perfect companion for formal occasions or special evenings. It is the scent I choose when I want to express individuality and style without being too intrusive. The longevity is impressive, and I always receive compliments when I wear it.

In summary: Jaguar for Men Gold in Black is a timeless fragrance that evokes memories of autumn and the festive Christmas season. For me, it is an elegant choice for the modern gentleman.

pleasantly balanced freshly pressed cypress with subtly fine aromatic surprises (honey, pumpkin)
The statements here hit the mark - in my opinion - perfectly.

I believe it is a secret genius. Broadly applicable, neutral, so without anything provocative or penetrating. I think you won't annoy anyone in the elevator with it. I would undoubtedly assign it to the male side. When I wear it, I am repeatedly surprised over time by pleasant notes ranging from spicy, herbal to mildly sweet. Then there is a synthetically smelling aquatic-citrus freshness (similar to 4711 - Blood Orange & Basil). I believe it is mandarin peel that holds on for so long (also reminiscent of coriander leaves). Association green (like with PDM - Galloway?). I must say, it is not this typical fruity sweet or mouth-watering cologne-like citrus (Clinique - Happy, Pacific Rock Moss), but a spicy mandarin peel scent. So also no bitter "waking" grapefruit scent (Engel Pure). Interesting how the drama repeatedly sinks from the high citrus tones into the depth of spice before one could lose the ground.

Beware of aromatic surprises!
If you read the fragrance direction indication from Parfumo.de, you might assume it is an overwhelming sweetness? No, in reality, it is a light airy sweetness. No vanilla, neither "cuddly" nor "cuddly one". I believe it is cypress that carries a resinous sweetness in the drydown. In any case, one could describe the scent as cypress-like or thuja-like. It is possible that it smells too much to some like a nearly chive-like "stinky" aroma of certain types of honey or even the smell of rotten pumpkin. There are also cypresses that smell a bit when crushed. Some varieties of mandarin can also "stray" into sulfurous directions. (I can imagine that the mandarin-like aromas of the top notes phase are largely supported and taken over by cypress, which makes these notes seem so densely woven and indeed last so long).

The scent is completely round with a fine and naturally appearing top phase of a mandarin composition. Whether composed by nature or by the perfumer, I do not know. What I also find good: the sprayed skin does not taste bitter.

(a small disadvantage perhaps for some: there is a slightly respiratory-stimulating menthol/eucalyptus/thyme/herb-woodiness, but really only slightly)

It is dangerous to deceive others, for it ends with deceiving oneself. Eleonora Duse
This Jaguar from the Swiss Lalique group is honest in its own way; it does not deceive anyone about its quality or direction.
So, is it a good shot? Yes and no, Lalique certainly has one of the best fragrance strategies in the lower price segment, and the scents are very long-lasting, providing relatively much output for the price invested.
This one can also be criticized; the force with which it hits you with mandarin and cumin is too well-intentioned. There is also too much artificiality present, which does not spare one the expression of penetrance.
Somehow, there is a suspicion that for this price of around 17 euros, the ingredients have also been sourced relatively cheaply. Perhaps, however, it is as suspected: the mix is too well-intentioned and combines too much together.
In its segment, it is still a little prince, but it hasn't quite made it to king.
The competitors in the budget league, dominant and strong, are products from Mäurer&Wirtz, Perfume Holding with the Ferrari scents, or Coty with the Tonino Lamborghini line. It is noteworthy that all these "cheapies" are offered with car brand names. In the case of Jaguar, the word cheap is not meant as poor quality, but rather as a designation for the lower segment, which does not have to be bad at all.
Think of the brilliant Classic Gold, the Excellence Intense, or the Abraham or Adam from the line, the Jaguar in forest green with the brown cap. Therefore, such scents should not be underestimated, but they should also not be overestimated, because to return to the golden man in black, he is initially a performance powerhouse that quickly mutates into a backbencher in parliament. At first, he is strong with a lot of power; then, as the synthetic note weakens, he runs out of steam. Nothing else comes after that. Perhaps the nutmeg is still recognizable, but the violets or vetiver have simply been forgotten or added in too small a quantity.
A big thank you for the honesty of this Jaguar.

Smells very similar to its brother: Imperial for Men. Fruity-floral-spicy-woody with an oriental touch. Decent for the price.

Smells almost like The Brilliant Game by Davidoff,
has a bit of One Million too, just fresher and more subtle. H/S is quite okay for the price.

Jaguar for Men - Imperial with a new design and inflated pyramid. Gold in Black? It feels like the sun is shining out of your a**! Unnecessary.

High-quality opening with woody and unsweetened spice. Unfortunately, I can't relate to the slightly stale, softer, and sweeter heart.
