Who invented it?!
Imagine the headline in a very poorly imitated Swiss dialect like in the Ricola commercial! ;-)
Just like the named herbal candy, Bagno Cleopatra from the Swiss house Biokosma first clears the nose. However, it's less thanks to mint and the like, but rather because of its room-filling presence. Sprayed on and WHÄÄM, there they are, the powdery and floral notes and their entourage, the incense-like notes - sillage? Yes, it's definitely there, and quite a lot of it! And to get this out of the way, it also has great longevity. On my arm, no joke, it lasted 36 hours and two showers (including exfoliation), and on the sleeve, this lavish gem has been sitting for over 4 days. And I'm going to ride this out... I want to know how long it lasts. I have the endurance, period! The shirt stays here until I can no longer smell it *stamping my foot* The test paper that I usually use for sillage tests in the bedroom has been disposed of by my husband... it was too intense for him.
Edit: After almost 7 days, it was almost gone from the sleeve... the shirt has since been washed ;-)
Describing how Bagno Cleopatra smells is a bit more challenging: floral, powdery... everything is there, and I can also confirm the incense impression. Not resin per se, but a mix of resins, flowers, herbs, and so on. So much of everything and so strong that no individual components can be filtered out.
After a few hours, I also think I smell Fenjala... so alongside the flowers and such, I perceive a turquoise, sweet freshness, like you know from the oil bath.
I like it, but preferably on the second day... I need to try using a cotton ball to see if I can tame it a bit when dabbed on. It’s definitely advisable to dose it homeopathically (beware, the spray from the bottle is quite generous!) ... we don’t want the UN to add it to the list of chemical weapons otherwise ;-)
