The Fireworks in a Deep Black Night

I still remember vividly when I first sprayed Noir Extreme in a perfume store. 'So sweet and so floral, this can't be a pure men's fragrance!' I thought back then while sniffing my wrist.
A few weeks later - I had tested Noir Extreme repeatedly in the meantime - it was clear: This scent has me hooked. I need a bottle of it, and fast!
Regarding my initial assessment: Even though some of the spices try to push the fragrance in a more masculine direction at times, I classify Noir Extreme as unisex. The ladies' version seems unnecessary to me in this context.

How can I best describe Noir Extreme?
Certainly, I could go through the notes from the fragrance pyramid, and indeed: With hardly any other scent can I distinguish the individual components in top, heart, and base notes as clearly as here, each of high quality and naturalness.
However, I prefer to envision Noir Extreme as an opulent fragrance fireworks in a deep black, clear night, drawn high up into the sky yet floating so close to the body. Initiated by a fruity-spicy opening, its peak is characterized by a mélange of creamy sweetness, refreshing flowers, and tame smoke, before it gently and incredibly softly fades away with a vanilla resting on wood.

Regarding longevity, there is only positive news: Eight hours or more are effortlessly the norm for me, mind you with a moderate dosage of three sprays. Projection and sillage are, according to the reactions I have received from bystanders so far, also above average. Compliments are naturally not lacking with Noir Extreme. However, the truth is that the scent might be a tad too pleasing for some noses.

There are minor criticisms regarding the bottle: Visually it is fine, but nothing special. The cap, however, like with the other fragrances in the Noir line, is made of lightweight, cheap plastic and fits - at least on my specimen - more poorly than well. For a fragrance in this price range, small scratches and flaws in the glass of the bottle, which unfortunately are present in my specimen, are also not appropriate.

There are plenty of occasions to wear Noir Extreme; due to its opulence, preferably on cooler days. However, I think the scent can also be worn on a summer evening or even in the office with a reduced dosage. But I prefer to save it for occasions for which it seems predestined: to create a fireworks display in a deep black night. The end.
