I have always only worn a €15 fragrance from the drugstore that disappeared after 2 hours, if at all. But then one day Zalando had the idea to send me a 2.5ml sample of Impact, and I was blown away. When I smelled it for the first time, it was the best scent I had ever experienced. Even though my collection is still not very large, I have of course tried some other fragrances by now and know that, compared to the others, it is not bad but also not the best scent, that's clear. Nevertheless, I think it is a good fragrance that can definitely be taken seriously and that is always well received by others. Even though it clearly leans towards spring/summer in terms of seasons, I believe it can also be worn during the colder months in the daytime. However, on a winter evening, it would be a bit too fresh for me personally; I would need something heartier. If I had to associate it with a specific situation, my first thought would be the blood-red sunset by the sea on warm temperatures with a fresh breeze after a hot day. :) The very dominant bitter orange note certainly contributes to that. I find the sillage quite decent, and with about 4-5 sprays, you can be well perceived in the immediate vicinity. The only slightly disappointing thing is the longevity of about 4-5 hours, but Hilfiger has included a travel spray in the bottle for that. All in all, it's a good fragrance that you can't go wrong with in the designer class, and since it was my first fragrance, it will always remain in my collection, no matter which direction my fragrance taste goes.
