Trussardi Uomo Trussardi 2011 Eau de Toilette

Here we are faced with something special, there is no similar perfume in circulation. It is the geranium that makes the difference, as in Chanel Egoist Platinum. In the Chanel EP, the pungent accord created with the geranium, which is described by many as metallic, is more relevant. In the Trussardi Uomo it is incorporated by the leather and what comes out, as a perfume, it's better, in my opinion. You cannot think that it is a reproduction of the version created in 1983, simply because it is another perfume, even if it has the same name. Trussardi Uomo 1983, at the beginning, was aromatic, green, a little citrusy and with the presence of aldehydes. Trussardi 2010, at the start, is citrusy, with the presence of lemon and bergamot and spicy with a little nutmeg. Trussardi 1983, in the heart, stood out because it had honey. However, it had the same chord (recreated with the rose, instead of the geranium) that characterizes the 2010 version, but it was a part of its development. In the 2010 version that chord is what you hear until the end. Needless to say, Trussardi 1983 also had real oakmoss, iris, cinnamon, tonka bean and vetiver. It's like comparing Mike Tyson in 1986 to Mike Tyson in 2024.
