Polder Van de Zotte 2022

Finally! Spot-on fresh cut grass!
Having been on the lookout for a good, spot-on perfume that really smells like Spring, this one finally did it. Van De Zotte seems to be a Dutch perfume brand with at this moment only 2 perfumes (MILLS being the other one).
POLDER apparently smells like what the Dutch polders smell like in spring/summer. With notes of fresh grass, warm hay and dry woods. And boy would I love to move to a Dutch polder if they really do smell like this perfume!! It opens with a clear fresh grass scent, created by the basil and artemisia. I don't think basil is a Dutch herb, but it works for the grass note.
As bright green as the opening is, so warm and rich is the dry down with indeed dry woods, hay, patchouli. Haven't yet caught the vetiver, but am also not missing it.
Van De Zotte's Polder might just be one of my signature scents this summer! Now I've got to try out their MILLS to follow up. Should be a great Autumn/winter scent.
