How I imagine a sports scent
As most of you know, I like to do a lot of sports. Meanwhile I don't compete with others in competitions anymore, it's too stressful for me, but I love to run or cycle many kilometres every day. Often I also test scents (I have no choice with the many samples that come in here), which unfortunately don't really fit into the nature setting
But today I had one with me, he does this. Granverde by Lorenzo Dante Ferro. A wonderful companion when you go out into nature. The first impression was that of a classic colognes. The prelude is citric and fresh, but actually already gives the direction in which it should go. Green, really already green. The spice and wood notes and vetiver are not long in coming. The scent reminds me of damp meadows in the morning. Also the forest is not far away and brings in its typical woody (coniferous) aroma. Since this fragrance is a perfume and not cologne, it also holds up wonderfully well a sports unit.
Although I can't find any musk in the pyramid, I guess it's inside, because the whole thing always seems very clean to me. However, the musk here is even more dimmed than in the Aqua Allegorias by Guerlain. I also think the musky note is what Meggi, or rather his colleagues, perceived as feminine. Despite all its freshness and herbaceous spice, the fragrance has something sweet about it and I attribute that to the musk. Nevertheless, I dare to say that the fragrance might also appeal to those who are initially put off by the word clean musk. For this sweetness is very delicate, very small. It does not annoy and does not take away the masculine, cologne-typical basic note. Everything here is just as it should be in a classic men's fragrance. And yet so sparkling and also a bit playful

Nevertheless, I'll say this: if someone wants to, then this perfume from Bella Italia is a good choice. Because you smell fresh and at the same time subtle, of course, and shouldn't really get on anyone's nerves. It's a fragrance that does a great job of balancing between a true classic and a modern fragrance and, at least for my nose, has no age. With this fragrance you are somewhere between Eau Sauvage and Original Vetiver. And even though I see it primarily on the masculine side, it's not entirely wrong with women.
