					Good Fabric Softener
This scent seems somewhat difficult to grasp descriptively, and its perception appears to be heavily dependent on the individual sniffer. This can be easily seen in the contributions here, as the range of opinions on "Dreamer" is, in my view, above average.
And indeed, even for myself and the same bottle, the impression is not always the same. During my very first test (on the forearm), I thought, "Hmm, it's actually just lavender." On the second (scent cloud in front of my face): "Ugh, ashtray!" After the third attempt, I smelled marzipan.
I don't know how that happened. I hope those weren't all strokes. ;)
After longer use, however, my nose and the scent have synchronized, so I can give the following overall assessment:
The herbs listed in the notes play only an absolute supporting role. In contrast, the initially strong tobacco quickly loses presence in the drydown and then helps to tame the sweeter and floral notes of the fragrance in the background - to which the herbs likely also contribute.
Clearly dominant in "Dreamer" throughout the entire scent journey is a very soft, soapy aura - referring here to that of freshly fabric softener-laundered laundry. The scent gives me an almost tactile feeling of fluffiness - with a slight sweetness of marzipan (wherever that comes from, probably a result of the amber mixed with some of the herbal notes).
The "Dreamer" is truly a cuddly scent - however, it's more suited for one person; it's too innocent for more.
I will repurchase it, although it is actually very nice, but probably not. The scent is a bit too floral for a man, too fluffy for summer, too light for winter, and the tobacco might stand out too much on a lady. Finding the right occasion to wear it, aside from a cozy evening at home, is really not easy, and I think that might even be the main reason why it doesn't gain more popularity. Because, to conclude, the "Dreamer" is truly not bad. It just might be too much in between all the chairs.
