Black Steel Victorinox

This might be the best use of a black pepper note I have smelt so far. It's strong in the opening, with a healthy touch of fresh ginger, based out with woody and resinous notes.
This simple combo works very well and by being perfectly blended, provides good complexity and depth.
The dry down gets smoother with the leather/wood/almond combo coming through.
A masculine DNA but I can see a confident woman pull this off easily.
The ingredients smell of very high quality and natural.

It doesn't project too much but it does leave a trail, this however I don't enjoy as much as smelling it off skin. Performance isn't great either, but that's forgivable considering the price you can get this for.

If you like The One EDP this might be a great alternative, you will almost certainly love it. It's similarly spicy but switches the basil opening for ginger which makes it more winterly. Great scent for a date in fall/winter, this also gets quite cozy in the dry down.
As for the bottle, I love the timeless, sleek design. The cap does not click on but feels high quality. Atomizer is very good too.

This is a great cheapie with high quality ingredients and a creative DNA that will appeal to almost anyone who likes a bit of spice.
