Morning Chess Vilhelm Parfumerie 2015 Eau de Parfum

I tried Morning Chess two years ago in the discovery set but was so overshadowed by my instalove for Basilico and Polly. Last week I spritzed a little on in Anthropologie and now I can’t stop thinking about it. This is an attractive scent. It’s the scent of an embrace. Masc patchouli and pebbled leather eloping with sweet bergamot. And some other distant tropical fruit. Green mango? Pineapple husk? Morning Chess is more “cologne-y” than I like for myself, but I’d honeymoon with this scent. Or go on a slightly flirty business trip. It’s very clean, fresh, and totally SFW. Tasteful on men, “yes chef” on women.
