Modern Summer Fruit Cocktail
Some time ago, I ordered a sample of this fragrance with the great name Wackelwasser. While the Dark version of Pyramid and Concept does not appeal to me at all, I found this one quite interesting. Specifically, I found this extremely fruity top note very intriguing, and after testing, I still find it quite successful. I can say upfront: Fans of fruity scents will get their money's worth here.
The bottle is simple, and the name is humorously chosen. Whether this brand plans more releases is questionable. It seems to be a sub-label of Mark Plesch's Nasengold. In any case, it has a modern style from a good perfumer. One must also mention: At 100 euros for 50ml, it is anything but cheap. Perhaps a bit overpriced for this fragrance concept.
Light is an appropriate choice for this scent. The sillage is not bad, but these fruity and fresh notes are just very pleasant and exactly right for warm days. This fragrance especially reminds one of fizzy lemonade. This is due to the fruity top note, which lingers for a long time. Orange Fizz, a cocktail with a lot of orange and other fruits, is present here. Additionally, tangerine, which can be clearly detected. Light citrus notes can also be perceived, especially at the beginning. Overall, fans of fruity scents will particularly enjoy the first two hours. A slight floral freshness also emerges here, but it is never too heavy and remains more in the background. Towards the end, it fades out in a typical yet pleasant manner with wood, musk, and amber. The overall concept is very modern and fresh throughout, fitting for a 2017 release. I like it very much, as this Light is never overwhelming.
The performance is decent, but not outstanding. Suitable for a fresh scent, it lasts between 5-6 hours, where the sillage is quite good.
Especially suitable for summer everyday life/leisure, although it could also fit well in the evening if one prefers fruity scents. While there are many better alternatives in terms of price, it is still a high-quality fruity fragrance that is absolutely unisex. Definitely worth a test for those with a slightly larger budget.
