You are silly!
Through a swap game, I got a bottle of "Reve de Weil" a few weeks ago. And although it doesn't necessarily belong to my favorites in my collection: somehow I like it. Aside from the really somewhat cheap-looking plastic cap, the bottle is quite pretty, and especially the box. When I discovered a close relative of the fragrance for little money today, it was natural to quickly check Parfumo. "Fresh-floral"? Well, that can mean everything and nothing and is not entirely my fragrance direction. However, I do like several of the scent notes - which doesn't necessarily mean that I will like the overall composition. But curiosity and/or the buying impulse won out.

At home, I eagerly sprayed the new addition. Oh wow! A somewhat sharp citrus - and by "sharp," I mean it literally! - splashes at me. Maybe it's the mandarin? I certainly didn't expect that, and my first thought is: "You are silly!" The packaging and bottle do not make me feel any more reconciled; both seem to me like a cheap knockoff of some "Cool Water Woman" flanker. And although the bottle was still sealed when I bought it, a little piece of the white paint layer has already come off the bottom... However, I don't find "Eau de Weil" aquatic or even just fresh as promised. Not to mention that the stated original price, which I checked, does not exactly suggest a dupe.

As if it had read my thoughts, the fragrance, which I initially found to be quite a diva, quickly becomes milder, friendlier, and more pleasant. Madame remembers her good manners. In the base, I even find it somewhat similar to "Reve de Weil," but with significantly less sillage. Not bad, not unpleasant, but also not exciting and unfortunately a bit synthetic. I expected more from the diva. Gently, she now blooms a bit, somewhat sweet, maybe even occasionally a little fresh. Sounds a bit boring? Unfortunately, it is.

I’ll give it a friendly 6 for now, as this Weil did not convince me today. A few more tests will follow - after all, I’m sitting on 100ml for now.

P.S.: Does the blind purchase support group still exist???

Not Cool Water, more like Issey Miyake and the bottle goes that way too.
Loud, colorful, cheerful, delightful flowers, for cool to cold weather.
