A slightly austere, aldehyde-boosted opening that comes across as very distinctive and primal, with notes of soap, bitter green herbs, and a gentle leathery animalic quality, reminds me in a modified way of Nuit de Bakelite. The citrus notes brighten the fragrance over time, without losing its strikingly archaic character. Beautiful leather and a hint of wood dominate the very impressive and long-lasting base. I really like it! Thanks to Berlin!
