Struggling beauty

A myth tells that when the Greek hero Acamas went away for the Trojan War, he left his beloved, Phyllis, desperate, waiting for him.
After ten long years, she died, but the Goddess Athena, feeling great pain, transformed her into an almond tree.
Acamante returned and, having known about it, went to the tree and hugged it with love and pain. Fillide felt that embrace and made white flowers appear: flowering that, since then, has been repeated every year in spring.
Almond is an extremely sensual fragrance, of a struggling beauty: the flowers, in particular a clean green tuberose, are enriched by juicy fruit and soothed in their sweetness by a divine almond.
A creation full of love and beauty, like the story of Acamante and Fillide.
