Ataya

The tea ceremony with mint in the Orient is not that old. At some point in the 18th century, it spread over trade routes and with colonization, and has since become part of the hospitality culture, especially in North and West African countries. And just as this "almost" new tradition represents a blink of an eye in the millennia-old cultural history of the Arab peoples, AJ Arabia's - Black Collection III also presents itself as very modern, with solid, traditional roots. In a very beautiful way.

Immediately after spraying, the velvety, woody, soft AJ Arabia DNA sets out to conquer my heart (and nose). The more of AJ's fragrances I get to know, the more I am pleased that there is such a thing as a fingerprint. Recognizable. Distinct. Oriental. Beautiful.

In this collection, classic oriental and modern aspects and accords are skillfully combined. So skillfully that I do not get the impression of an interpretation leaning towards a theme, but rather Black Collection III fits in as an independent fragrance within the Black Collection.

Almost ethereal, the main player, the mint, pushes its way into the scene shortly after. It immediately reactivates in me that image, stored memories from my youth, of a tea ceremony in the Maghreb. Instantly, those scents are there and pull me back through decades in time. The tea was too sweet. But that was how it was meant to be. Presumably, the Targi wore jeans and a shirt under his wide, traditional robe. Much "more worldly" than the conveyance of tradition in that moment would suggest. It has definitely made its way into my long-term memory.

This scent backdrop at Ataya - oriental-spicy meets with nanamint and connects the times. That is AJ Arabia - Black Collection III.

I can recommend this fragrance to anyone who generally likes oriental scents. Black Collection III offers a special fragrance experience that is both fresh and yet oriental. Exciting.

For connoisseurs of the collection: Black Collection III is difficult to compare with other fragrances in the series. Too distinct for a real closeness to another fragrance, as with Gold II and Black IV, to be discernible.

So, take a seat. Your tea is already waiting for you.
