I have already shared my opinion on Alexandria III here. At the time, Alex II clearly fell short of Alex III for me.
However, after wanting to test the XJ Oud series (Attar oil) from Xerjoff a few weeks ago, I decided on Alexandria II.
The Attar is really a different ball game and has changed everything, or rather my perspective.
The regular Alex II, on the other hand, is just loud and strong. Anyone in the room will notice you. It practically screams for attention.
While the Attar wraps around you like a cozy fragrance cloak. You really have to get quite close to the wearer to perceive it. And that’s where the magic of the Attar lies.
The incredible depth and warmth is truly a dream. I also like to wear it at home (couch evening) and simply enjoy this subtle scent magic. Because fundamentally, one can say that the DNA of Alexandria is a little masterpiece!
In the form of the Attar, however, it has, in my view, reached the throne of the series!
The sillage, as mentioned, is not very strong - which is not a disadvantage. The longevity is very good for me! However, it may be perceived as weaker due to the lighter sillage.
