A Sparkling Start with a Floral Drydown
Until recently, I didn't even know that Coro existed. I am currently conducting my personal Xerjoff house tour, and while completing my samples, I noticed that there are still two variants of the Velvet Collection that I had never encountered before: Verde Accento and Coro. It is a fragrance that is exclusively available at Selfridges and, unlike other exclusives like MV Augusta or Alexandria Orientale, flies under the radar. The bottle is covered in velvet and comes in a beautiful shade of yellow; it is truly a showstopper.
The fragrance starts with a sparkling note that evokes associations with a soda or effervescent powder. Once this impression fades, a fruity note emerges that is much softer than Erba Pura. In the drydown, a gentle floral fruity note develops, accompanied by a pleasant sweetness. All in all, it's not a spectacular creation, but one that you should definitely try for yourself. For me, it tends to be a more feminine fragrance, but it will surely appeal to some men as well. I see its application mainly in everyday and leisure settings during the day and early evening.
