Absolutely overwhelming

....every now and then I need to treat myself, and then I go browsing for a new fragrance. As for the great niche perfumes, I discovered them about 2 years ago. Previously, I thought that the selection at Douglas was the end of the line. Since then, I feel like someone has turned on the light:-))
But now to Opera - just the name promises a lot, as does the bottle. The comments here made me so curious that I dared a blind purchase; it was a damn good offer.
As always, I could hardly wait for the package delivery person to finally arrive at my door. After that, I practically pounce on the packages and can't get them open fast enough.
Then finally the first spray on my wrist....I initially perceive something herbal and unsweetened and am a bit disappointed. However, I know that I always need several tests. So I tried it again after 2 days, and I was rewarded.
The fragrance gets better and better, no, that's an understatement, it's magnificent. I couldn't list everything I perceive; the scent is too complex for that.
As for longevity, I can say it's gigantic for me. I still perceive the scent on my pillow days later. The same goes for the sillage. It is clearly noticeable, and one should apply the fragrance sparingly.
It is absolutely a scent for a grand appearance, but also simply for me to enjoy.

Many can't define this gum-like sweetness.
I call it "Frigeo Crispy Rice smell." I like the scent, but I wouldn't spend that much on it.

I agree with you - it's really amazing.
I wore it for the first time today, and it's especially nice with that certain velvety Sospiro note that you can also smell in Verde Accento.
