Thank God for Souk(ing)!
The plot right away: I love Accento!
Thanks to this great platform here and the Souk, trying out new fragrances has become a piece of cake. Many super-reliable perfumers deliver everything you’ve always wanted to try within sometimes just one day. And all of this without having to visit perfume shops that don’t carry the respective scent.
Did I mention it? I love Accento!
And YES: of course, this is subjective. I had thought that the "Overdose" was a "stronger" Accento, even though the ingredients - as can be easily read - are of course different. Nevertheless, I was under the impression that it would at least follow a fragrance family. Accento and Accento Overdose actually only share the root (name), but apart from that, they have nothing in common!
Accento is unisex for me, leaning a bit more towards the masculine. Accento Overdose is not UNISEX for me; it is simply far too floral, too fruity, very soft and yes: actually (already) too feminine. The longevity and sillage were indeed very good (at least on my skin)!
I like the scent. But on HER!
So, for anyone who has tested Accento Overdose and found it too feminine, I advise you to order the original version, Accento! They are worlds apart!
Conclusion: it’s definitely pleasant, but for me as a man, it’s not wearable. As always, it holds true here: luckily, everything is subjective; there will be men who like and wear it.
