Alexandria 2 on steroids
For me, Alexandria Orientale is the big brother of Alexandria 2. It opens with a fruity apple note paired with subtle spicy notes, similar to Alexandria 2.
However, the animalic oud note quickly comes to the fore and gives it the necessary independence. It relies significantly more on oud throughout the fragrance and appears more mature and deeper than Alexandria 2. However, this very dominant animalic note dissipates again after a few minutes and only resonates slightly in the background.
However, the oud component remains present. This can still be clearly perceived throughout the rest of the fragrance, which I personally find very good.
Nevertheless, I have to say that I had problems making friends with this fragrance, especially at the beginning, as its enormous power can also be very overwhelming.
After a few hours, I hardly notice any difference to Alexandria 2. They are very similar in style, but the Oriental has a little more spice and a better radiance.
