That sounds wonderful. Amber Star is probably the most beautiful amber scent out there, and then it's refined... if the Attare Christmas edition is still available (limited edition and all), it鈥檚 going under the tree!

You can definitely tell it's a Xerjoff creation. Specifically, though, is it more special than Amber Star or Alexandria 2? Not really. For me, if anything, it's the 56, since gourmands rarely impress me. It really is something limited, and the brand tends to look more towards the Orient and increasingly towards China in the future. Such a form isn't directly associated with any plugs but rather with something ritualistic and spiritual, and decadence is definitely in style there. ;D

As you can see, all the new Xerjoff Amphorae contain Bourbon vanilla. I find it to be quite sweet in the 56, while in the others it's really beautifully subtle and supportive. In the 27, it's hardly noticeable.
