Blue Hope is a cloud perfume. Of gentle lightness.
The light above the clouds.
I have never experienced clouds as intensely as on the beautiful island of Tenerife. You drive up to Teide and look down at swirling, flowing, fluffy clouds - in all possible formations and also colors, with the seductive blue glimmering sea in between. It is completely silent. You spread out, seeing other Canary Islands emerge from a sea of clouds. The sun is strong. One could just fall straight into this sea of clouds. The deep blue of the sea exerts a tremendous pull.
I have no fear of heights, no, but I can't endure it for too long without feeling "different".
It is the same with "Blue Hope". I can't smell it for too long without feeling a cotton-soft sensation and a strong pull. (Blue Hope - the name was rightly chosen).
So how does Blue Hope smell?
Fantastic. Mandarin and bergamot rise radiantly bright above a cloud bed of vanilla. Soft, cuddly, fluffy. And yet present.
Cedar and saffron are subtly perceptible, creating a wide, blue space. Musk may contribute to the warmth and sweetness, but jasmine is just a whispered little cloud.
Blue Hope is strong and seductive, soft and radiant, airy and deep.
A fruity gourmand, sweet, less floral with an intoxicating brilliance and gentleness.
The longevity and sillage are very good.
I want to recommend Blue Hope to you, I can't escape it, and perhaps you won't be able to either. So, sweet tooths, definitely give it a try!
Above the clouds and right in the middle of it... Yes, sigh, oh yes, that's how this scent is - complete weightless harmony. Only the Xerjoff moon pricing policy stirs up resistance (and magically dispels my longings :)
You're really onto something with the clouds! I don't think I've ever tested such a sweet bomb that’s still so fluffy, soft, and light... A very nicely written comment, dear Althea!
Now I can't get that song out of my head ;O)) But yes, I feel the same way about this scent. It wraps around me, makes me happy, and surrounds me with a lightness. It can rain, storm, whatever... I just have to smile ;OD
You really nailed his characterization: "soft, fluffy, and YET present"! "Blue Hope" is truly a fitting name. I want it soooo badly!!! Thanks for the comment, dear Althea!
