Floral, elegant with weak sillage

The fragrance Damarose by Xerjoff is characterized by floral notes that evoke for me the memory of an unsweetened red fruit tea. The scent is generally more feminine than masculine, but surprisingly, after several sniffs, it can be classified as unisex. Certainly not the best fragrance from the line, but well-crafted nonetheless. Unfortunately, the sillage is a downside, alongside the hefty price: I perceive the scent very closely to the skin. In short, an elegant floral fragrance with average sillage and decent longevity at an absurd price for 50 ml or 100 ml.

Weak sillage but gave it 8 points for sillage. How does that make sense?
