Oily bergamot? Can't say I've experienced that portrayal of it yet @Wusubi - do you suspect there's another note helping to pull this side of it out?

@Gourmandgrl oh yeah, rindy is the word I’ve been looking for.
Makes perfect sense when the scent manages to capture the rind too, not just the juice.

@Wusubi that makes sense, I can picture what you're saying - the rind definitely produces natural oils too, so I guess I get that as well at times with various citruses!

@Gourmandgrl when bergamot is super tangy and realistic, it reminds me of an essential oil, thus almost oily in texture. I would use the same word for guerlinade or Bergamask.
