Arabian Breeze that Holds Its Own in the Freshie Market...

I am just starting to discover the brand a bit for myself, and with this fragrance, Yas has done everything right; it is truly like the name Al Naseem suggests, a beautiful breeze, and the promise of pure refreshment is well kept here. But before I reveal too much, let's get into it:

- The top note is a truly explosive freshness from the grapefruit; neither soapy nor too sweet, but bright and radiant. Underneath, there is a slight, natural bitterness that really exudes quality. It reminds me of a blend of Ginger and Vibrato in the opening.

- Then ginger comes in, crisp and slightly spicy; it supports the grapefruit very well, just like in other combinations. Ambrette gives the whole thing a slightly creamy, clean texture.

- In the end, however, the fragrance takes a slightly different direction, as musk, a bit of patchouli, and vetiver come into play; the Ambroxan kicks in as a driving force, conveying this strong, clean, and airy character and ensuring the powerful performance. Patchouli and vetiver act more in the background, giving the fresh scent a slightly woody-earthy texture.

- The performance for a freshie is very good; longevity and sillage are top-notch, ranking high in the upper third for a freshie.

The freshness combined with this elegant ambrette-musk combo is fresh, playful, yet still elegant enough for everyday wear. When I compare the scent to others, it comes closest in the air to Ginger throughout its development, but with far better performance. In the opening, yes, it also has a bit of Vibrato vibes, but then the Vibrato goes in a more powdery direction, while this one follows the Ginger DNA, but in a more performant way.

Therefore, definitely a freshie that should be on your radar, test recommendation yes, even blind buy, absolutely environmentally friendly.
