For a long time, I wore this beautiful fragrance Muguet en fleurs by Yves Rocher from the recently launched "Um matin au jardin" collection again yesterday. It must have been years since I last wore it.
But since Yves Rocher has just released a lot of new fragrances - I am still skeptical if there is anything for me among them - and many old ones had to go, I brought out my 100ml bottle and sprayed it on for the occasion.
If I remember correctly, I bought this floral scent right after its launch in 2013 or at the latest in 2014, along with the rose scent from this series.
I was looking for a fresh scent that is suitable for everyday wear and work. And you definitely get a fresh scent here.
The fragrance is rather simple and does not undergo any significant development.
I primarily smell lily of the valley and another jasmine-like floral note. The scent reminds me quite a bit of Diorissimo, only that it is lighter. This fragrance should especially appeal to those who like Diorissimo but are looking for something lighter for everyday wear.
The fragrance is very nice and well done in itself, but it could last a bit longer.
The bottle is kept rather simple, but that suits the fragrance as well.
I also bought a second reserve bottle a few years ago. Since it is now being discontinued, I am glad I prepared in time.
I find this lily of the valley very beautiful too - delicate, fresh, floral, a lovely hint, and very natural. However, the longevity is rather lacking for an EdT. But since it's very affordable (or was), reapplying isn't really an issue. I brought it back out after a long break during this hot summer and used it as a refreshing spritz in between. By the way, the scent (like the entire now-discontinued line) is excellent as a room fragrance. Even bed linens smell wonderful for days.
Prevention is always a good idea. And if I really like a scent, I always have one in reserve. Unfortunately, I don't know much about Rocher. I realize I have a lot to catch up on!... ;)
I smelled the new Lily of the Valley today and I have to say, at least on the first whiff, it seems successful. However, since I was already wearing a fragrance, I didn't try it on my skin, which is really what matters. So it's quite possible that I'll adjust my opinion later.
Oh nice, the Matin au Jardins were quite pleasant and straightforward. My mom ordered the fragrances regularly, and this one was included too. The rose scent was her favorite. YR does a big clean-up every year, after all.
YR always has some lovely fragrances. Unfortunately, some are a bit short-lived, but they have very beautiful notes like this one. Stocking up is always a good idea! Trophy for you.
