Mon Paris Couture Yves Saint Laurent 2018

I recently tested the original Mon Paris.
I don't like this one at all.
I wrote a statement about it.
Hmmm, so at the beginning, strawberry and raspberry jump out at you.
Really... Full blast... In your face...
These two notes dominate throughout the entire fragrance journey.
It became clear to me that strawberry in fragrances is not my thing.
So MP was out for me.

Shortly after, I saw that there is a Couture version.
I found this immediately interesting ---> no strawberry, grapefruit, and lychee (I think grapefruit and lychee are great in spring and summer fragrances).
Of course, I had to test it.
At the beginning, raspberry, lychee, bergamot, and grapefruit dominate for me.
I really like the grapefruit and bergamot here, as they prevent the fragrance from becoming too syrupy-sweet.
And they give it a bit of freshness.
The scent develops really nicely: for me, it's a raspberry-grapefruit mix.
Along with lychee, rose, musk, and patchouli (which gives the fragrance some depth and earthiness, like in MP).
If I had to describe it in a few words, I would say: sweet-citrusy, fruity, fresh, a bit rosy + musk.

As for longevity, I can't complain.
I applied MPC in the morning and still noticed it in the afternoon.

I would categorize MP more for autumn, winter, and spring.
I think it's too much for summer.
MPC, on the other hand, can be worn all year round, in my opinion.
With grapefruit and lychee, this fragrance is a great summer companion.

I don't know the other MP versions.
As for MP and MPC, I must clearly say that MPC is the better MP for me.
