A fragrance I had to learn to love

As the title suggests, Babycat is a scent that I couldn't quite appreciate at the beginning of my fragrance journey. I am a big fan of vanilla and thought there was no way this fragrance could go wrong. Unfortunately, it was much too smoky for me, and after one test, the sample remained untouched for over a year. But eventually, I thought to myself, "come on, give this fragrance another chance." So I did. The scent starts with a punch of incense that has nothing soft or smooth about it, reminding me very much of church incense. This note used to put me off, but strangely, I didn’t find it unpleasant anymore. However, the incense diminishes over time, and the vanilla beautifully emerges. A really lovely sweet, cozy vanilla. I haven't smelled this combination in any other fragrance. The longevity and sillage are average.
The more I wear this fragrance, the more I like it. A love that had to grow.

I felt the same way! At first, I thought it was totally overrated and couldn't relate to it at all. It was all too much for me-too much incense, too much vanilla. But now 😌 I appreciate it and really like it a lot.

Yeah, I also find the first hour challenging, but once you're outside, it's fine. In the office, it's super strong, and from the second hour on, it just gets better and continues to project nicely.
